Engram is a local-first developer context hub built on top of Supermemory. It automatically captures high-signal intent (file open states, diagnostic errors, shell executions, and git events) from your IDE and terminal. You can save project 'capsules' to seamlessly resume where you left off or share sanitized snapshots with teammates via public shareable links. Engram works across VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and VSCodium, exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Claude Code and other agents, and integrates a Hono API backend, Supabase auth, and a Next.js marketing and dashboard frontend.
Features
- •IDE Extension Capture: Invisible write pipeline capturing open files and diagnostic errors across VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and VSCodium.
- •CLI & MCP Integration: Offers terminal and git hooks for session capture, alongside an MCP server exposing context management tools to AI agents.
- •Context Capsules & Sharing: Saves local workspace snapshots (capsules) that can be loaded to restore state or exported as public links.
- •Supermemory Integration: Employs Supermemory Local for vector storage and semantic search over captured developer activity.
